Research Advisor in Aberdeen

Research Advisor in Aberdeen. Graeme Pallas is recruiting for a Research Advisor to join a national organisation at their site based in Aberdeen on a contract basis.

As Research Advisor the main purpose of your role will be to:
- Liaise with universities nationally in respect to scientific research
- Provide scientific advice on food borne disease i.e. Campylobacter or VTEC

As a Research Advisor, you will have the following qualification, skills and experience:
- PhD in a microbiology subject and/or
- Experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication skills

The successful Research Advisor will be joining a national organisation located at their site Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for scientists to try their hand at a bit of project management. Much of the role will involve liaising with universities and directing research studies in respect to food-borne diseases. This is a short term contract role and will suite someone with a microbiology background that has experience from a PhD/post doc or microbiology laboratory.
