Salary: £28,000 - £37,000 region
Location: Bedford

A lead systems integrator and advanced technology company is looking for an Estimator.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

·Develops, plans and schedules proposals
·Co-ordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling and performance elements from Functional Departments.
·Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts
·Co-ordinates risk identification, use of inflation and exchange rate variables
·Assists bid team in preparation of internal company presentations to obtain authority to bid
·Reviews functional inputs for completeness and comparisons to past performance
·Ensures company bid procedures are followed
·Participation in make – buy decisions
·Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team and provides PFG with information for price investigation

For this role the successful candidate will require previous estimating experience. You must be flexible and able to work well within a team environment and have a good knowledge of MS office products – word, powerpoint and excel. Also you will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Estimating experience in Engineering &/or a Manufacturing environment and experience with software estimating tools would be of benefit to you.
