Description Role: Decommissioning Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 region (Negotiable dependant upon experience)
Location: Norwich

A leading oil and gas engineering organisation is looking for a Decommissioning Engineer to be responsible for preparing workscopes and proposals including engineering solutions, client liaisons and interfaces. It is expected that the role will gradually expand to include sales and Management support functions.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

- Project Management of well intervention projects in a pro-active manner, including regular interface with clients, colleagues and other contractors;
- Preparation of bids and quotations for potential projects, revising as necessary and if accepted, controlling/monitoring costs;
- Preparation of comprehensive programmes of work and equipment lists for assigned projects;
- Delivery of products and services to clients on time, on quality and on cost;
- Delivery of Business Unit Sales and Profit budgets as contained in the business plan;
- Detailed review of quotes/tenders for new work prepared by Project Engineers including technical and commercial review and sign off to ensure that the product or service has been properly specified and costed, will meet the client’s needs
- Liaison with sales team to identify and respond to sales opportunities.

For this role the successful candidate will require experience of Project Management and ISO9001 procedures and you will be knowledgeable about Petroleum Engineering issues and well intervention.

Also you will have strong experience in the oil and gas industry and offshore survival and medical certification. Experience of preparing bids, budgeting and cost control is also needed.
