Description Role: Quality Electrical Inspector
Salary: £18,000 - £21,000
Location: Bedford

A leading international defence organisation is looking for a Quality Electrical Inspector with a manufacturing quality background.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

· Be responsible for the internal or external first article inspection and test of product assemblies, and calibration of equipment to specified requirements.
· Conversant with inspection of electrical/mechanical installations and cable harnesess assemblies.
· Fully conversant with the IEE Wiring regulations Sixteenth Edition

For this role the successful candidate will require experience in a similar role previously. As this is a requirement for both Electro-Mechanical and Electrical Inspection, the Inspectors will be conversant with the IEE Wiring regulations Sixteenth Edition
Experience in any of the following would be of benefit to you:
· Demonstrate a basic understanding of configuration management practices
· Conversant with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001
· Read and understand electrical engineering drawings
· Carry out First Article inspection
· Write clear and concise inspection reports
· Conversant with the IEE Wiring regulations Sixteenth Edition
