Description Role: Deputy Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Location: Bedford

A leading international defence organisation is looking for a Deputy Manager

Responsibilities for this role will include:

· Weekly reporting - missing timesheets, direct/indirect hours, weekly personnel movements, utilisation.
· Monthly - performance information, accruals/prepayments, subcontract calculations, labour over/under recovery, OSEC analysis, exchange rate records.
· Sanction control and reporting, CSR and annual plans support.
· Fixed asset implementation and ongoing maintenance.
· Capital expenditure control system and participation in DCRB meetings.
· Quarterly capital reviews and annual plans.
· Company insurance reporting, administration and surveys and response to queries.
· SAP - configuration, report writing and general support on the FI, CO, HR, timesheet and expense modules/areas.
· Preparation of and participation in financial quarterly status reviews with parent company.
· Calculation of labour and overhead rates and participation in negotiations with MoD and parent company.
· Involvement in company property matters on an occasional basis.
· Full involvement in the company budgeting and forecasting processes.

For this role the successful applicant will require experience of working in the finance department of an industrial company and will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience of reporting to both internal and external bodies would be of benefit to you, as would the ability to work with a range of colleagues in order to achieve results.
