Description Our client is seeking an experienced software architect to lead the design of distributed real-time embedded software for a wireless communications product. Will be expected to work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop the systems architecture and to develop software requirements specifications and software architecture specifications.

Must be experienced in:

IP communications protocols
Wireless comms
Power management for portable products
Design, development and debug of embedded systems
Development using embedded ARM9 or x86

Must have security clearance (SC)

Desirable

NIOS processors & BSP/driver development
Experience of product MMI development
XML
UML2
Location Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
