Description A public sector organisation is looking for a communications officer to join their team.

The key duties of this role are:

To support, develop and design internal communication tools and mechanisms
To work proactively with the media to support positive messages regarding health and social care and to minimise any potential negative coverage
To write, edit, proof read and co-ordinate publications, posters, leaflets and advice documents,
To complete day-to-day updates and design changes on the website
To contribute to press cuttings and the photo library

The ideal candidate will have all round communications experience but with a specific focus on internal communications. They will also be computer literate and have good writing skills

This is a great opportunity to gain more experience of a wide range of communications skills and to work in a varied and fast paced environment.
