Description		A key PCT in East Anglia are looking for an Interim Public Health Consultant to take the lead in Co-ordinating input to the Anglia Heart and Stroke Network from the Public Health Network and the Medical Directorate. The Postholder will: ? Have responsibility for development, implementation and delivery of national, regional and local policies and interdisciplinary strategic plans and programmes ? Provide expert public health advice and leadership to support and inform an evidence-based approach within ethical frameworks for commissioning ? Develop and utilise information and intelligence systems to underpin public health action ? Design and deliver a training programme as a major part of the job e.g. training Specialist Registrars in Public Health Medicine and Public Health Specialist Trainees. ? Monitor or contribute to the formulation of department/service budgets and financial initiatives The successful applicant will ? Have Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List/UK Public Health Register ? Have previous NHS Public Health experience ?
