The Bid Manager will take full ownership of the end-to-end solutions bid campaign. Responsibilities include introduction and enforcement of all necessary bid procedures and processes. Located in Basildon

This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines. It may require strong people management skills in a dynamic sales environment.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

- Planning and leading qualified bids
- Producing and issuing bid plans that yield competitive, winning bids
- Driving bids to win
- Ensure high quality proposals are submitted on time and containing strong sales messages that effectively sells company capability.
- Manages P + T budget (Proposals and Tenders Overhead budget).
- Co-ordinates bidding activity across Prof Comms to ensure they are adequately resourced
- Ensuring bids are delivered that comply with company policies and processes
- Liaise with our partners to obtain proposals and quotations
- Monitoring the status of current live bids
- Leading other bid managers engaged on Prof Comms bids

The successful candidate will have a proven capability in delivering winning, multi million pound services opportunities (ideally £50m+), ideally have a background in Solutions and Services. Experience of Bid Campaign Management from opportunity identification through to delivery and will provide input into win strategies, solution delivery and approach to constructing a compelling business proposition.

This position is based in Basildon and will be paying a basic salary of £50k+ (depending on level of experience) other benefits include pension and Healthcare. A relocation allowance is also available if required.
