Job Title: Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager
Location: South East, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Redhill, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead, Brighton,
West Sussex.
Rate: 45 to 52,500 plus, bonus, flexible benefits and relocation
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Job Description:
The Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager will provide the engineering leadership required for this role in the Naval, Communication, Navigation and Identification domain and assist the customer support group in the communication systems arena. The role involves management of COTS equipment obsolescence issues with associated planning of resolution. The Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager will give direction and support to field engineers to diagnose faults. The Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager will support customers in investigations. Management of the DRACAS process. Experience of systems engineering activities on Maritime platforms with previous experience of defining systems, preparing technical data packs for platform reviews and technical liaison with design authorities and sub contractors essential. Knowledge of ships communications and control systems and a good understanding of MoD working practices as applied to ships ideal. Previous exp. of installing and setting to work equipment on board Naval vessels a definite advantage. Strong leadership skills essential.
