A Naval Architect is required for a contract role to design and analyse marine structures. Responsibilities include designing and analysing ship structures, longitudinal strength analysis, global finite element analysis, shear flow analysis, Hull girder stress and deflection analysis and shock analysis. Also included will be the design and analysis of lifting, turning and transport arrangements and stability and seakeeping analysis and assessments.

The successful Naval / Structural Engineer will have experience of the following:

Naval architecture
Designing Ship Structures
Analysis of structures
