An opportunity has arisen with VT to help design training for Submarine Sonar controllers, and then deliver it to the students. Based in HMNB Clyde, this role requires a Submariner with Sonar experience and you will need to become security cleared

Key Objectives of the Job:

Conduct all training delivery and design activities in accordance with RNSAT (BR8420QS)
Manage training delivery and documentation in accordance with VT procedures
Deliver, design and review courses to meet programme deadlines
Maintain and ensure Configuration Control of training documentation, utilising all available IT systems
Liaise with SMEs, the Customer and other contractors over training delivery and production of documentation

Skills/Competency Profile
Essential
Submarine Sonar Advanced Analysis Course
IT literate – MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Project, Outlook)

Desirable
Training delivery (DIT (2002) or DTTT (2001) DCTS qual or equiv courses)
Training Analysis and Design (JA (3001) and TNA (3002) DCTS qual or equiv courses)
BR8420QS RNSAT or DSAT working knowledge


Technical Knowledge and Experience/Qualification
Essential
Submarine Qualified/ experience
Recent experience as Sonar Controller

Desirable
Sound understanding of Training Delivery and Design methods and procedures
