Part of Europe's largest multi-disciplinary consulting firm, the client is a leading provider of business, technology and project/programme consultancy to clients in the public and private sectors. Following great success in numerous areas of Government the client is looking to build upon this further by appointing a Director to lead in the development of the local Authority business. This role will take the lead on developing and delivering solutions to the market and growing the business. The aim is to leverage presence in Education and Welfare and combine these with the services offered from across the group to offer Local Authorities a comprehensive solution for meeting the unique challenges they face.

Key aspects of the Director role within local authorities, includes the building and leading of relationship with local Authorities, developing truly trusted relationships. The post holder will have full responsibility for the revenue generation and profit delivery within the sector and be responsible for building intellectual property as sales aids for clients.

Suitable candidates for the account director role will have significant experience of consulting in the Local Authority sector and an in depth knowledge of the Local Authority market. Direct experience of delivery in transformation or technology enabled business change is preferable. The individual will be enthused and energetic, possessing well developed consulting skills, with a track record of commanding high daily fee rates for clients running large, complex programmes in the UK public sector.
