NHS Operations Director – Midlands. ISL are working with an NHS Acute Trust who is looking to recruit for an interim Operations Director to manage their outpatient area for an initial 3 month period.
This is a high profile operational management role that requires someone who can demonstrate significant experience working within hospital / acute trusts at a senior management level, and the greater know-how you have of outpatient services the better.
The Director of Operations will be required to closely with the Executive Board. Key areas of focus for this role will be delivering on cost improvement plans and delivering against national NHS targets.
The Operations Director will be leading on clinical and operational areas across the division, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that quality of care is of the highest standards. The Operations Director will need a track record of senior / executive roles within NHS Trusts, and be able to show experience of both operational and strategic management in working to local and national NHS agendas.
The successful Operations Director will have NHS experience in a wide range of areas, e.g., budget control, auditing, staff management, strategy development, financial planning, cost improvement and communications skills. Experience within outpatient care will be highly desirable.
