Field Sales & Account Manager (139jc)
My client, who is based in Wales, is a niche provider of innovative products and solutions to the emergency and rescue services are now seeking a Field Sales and Account Manager to join their team.
You will be reporting to the Directors and you will be responsible for the following:
• To build, grow and maintain key account relationships
• To promote the company’s brand and profile
• To develop new opportunities and new markets
• To meet and exceed specified sales targets and objectives
• To keep the Managing Director fully informed about the market and the competition
Therefore your key responsibilities
• To introduce, demonstrate and present the company’s product range
• To work efficiently with all clients from across the market sectors, focusing on Emergency Services, public and corporate
• To work within the budget set and to meet the deadlines and targets agreed with the Managing Director and the Board of Directors
• To work within company policies and procedures in accordance with the Staff Handbook
• To sell the company’s products in accordance with the company’s policies
• To have a thorough knowledge of the company’s policies, the company’s products and their application, the market and potential in it, and the needs of specific clients, and to treat all such information with absolute discretion and confidentiality
• To introduce, develop and maintain the company’s profile
• To research and provide adequate information about competitors’ activities and products
• To ensure that demonstration stock performs reliably to the highest standards as required
• To present all information clearly and accurately as and when required
• To maintain comprehensive records as requested
• To forward plan, co-ordinate and efficiently administrate your working day to the company’s best advantage according to directives
• To travel and stay away from home as required to meet sales objectives
• To attend and support in-field exhibitions and conferences and other relevant events as required
To be eligible for this role you will need the following background and skills:
• Experience salesperson
• Personable and articulate
• Reliable and with proven integrity
• Fit, energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and/or experience of emergency services/equipment would be an advantage
• IT competent
• Well organised and disciplined time manager
• Self-motivated
• Would suit someone who enjoys outdoor activities
