ROLE:
The Property Services team build, refit and maintain Tesco stores and provide engineering and facilities support to stores and offices. Join them and you'll enjoy three placements in Property Services, where you'll enjoy real accountability to deliver projects.
As you can imagine, they cover a whole range of activities which means there's broad scope for you to develop an interesting and rewarding career. You could focus on the layout and visual appearance of their stores. Or you could be involved in building stores from initial concept to the finished building. That would involve liaising with their main contractors, architects and quantity surveyors. You'll be exposed to the latest construction and engineering techniques, and will be expected to find solutions for a variety of challenges on site.
Alternatively, you could refine your analytical skills, deciding how to apportion space in stores, to generate more revenue and give customers the broadest choice of products. It's a programme that offers a variety of experience on a range of different placements – all selected to further your development. And all focusing on improving our customers' shopping experience and helping you to develop general management skills and become a future leader

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) At least a 2:2 (achieved or expected) in a Property focussed degree, though a numerate subject such as Maths, Economics, Geography, etc, in conjunction with sound analytical skills would also be considered.
b) A passion and drive for working in a Property and Retail environment.
c) The ability to work well as a team with a range of professionals.
d) The character to enjoy a fast-paced life.
