Description This is opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Manchester, they are seeking a professional to join their Transport Technology team in the North West on a full time, permanent basis. This position will report to the Associate Director (Technology) based in the North West. You will ideally have experience as a motorway systems engineer and have a good knowledge of the Highways Agency NMCS communications system and its constituent parts such as CCTV, signals, MIDAS, VMS and other Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), preferably with design and implementation experience. There will be a high expectation on you to deliver high quality system designs and to both manage and contribute to the delivery of a portfolio of projects. Report writing and strong IT literacy are essential to the role. The role requires strong communication skills and it is vital that the person is a committed team player.
