Description		Warehouse Operative Based: Cambridge Temp to Perm Role (13 weeks temporary at c �7 to �8 / hour, then made permanent if successful) Salary: Up to �16k plus overtime Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm The COMPANY Our client is a leading office interiors company which supply cost-effective, imaginative and practical interior design solutions for businesses throughout the UK. The ROLE They are seeking a talented individual that they can trust to get on with the job in hand, and use their initiative to make things happen. As the company grows there is great potential for the right candidate to progress their career. You will be required to: �Maintain effective running of the warehouse within the bands of Health and Safety �Maintain safe and secure storage of products within the warehouse �Keep up to date records of products within the warehouse �Liaise with suppliers for dates / time of products to be delivered to the warehouse �Unload and check all paperwork and products by client name �Paper work to be faxed to the office so as both locations are aware of what has been delivered and what is missing �Check products against installation job files supplied by office �Prepare jobs for collection either by contractors or own in house installation team �General maintenance / Housekeeping to the warehouse �General vehicle checks and maintenance on a daily basis �Maintain daily delivery log �Maintain supplier delivery note log �Deliveries and collections of goods when required �Maintain excel spreadsheets for client records, delivery information etc. The CANDIDATE This is a relatively high paid position within this sector (up to �16k basic), and the calibre of candidate required is reflected in the salary. The successful candidate must: �Have a valid UK Driving Licence �Have a Counter Balance Licence �Have experience within a similar warehouse environment (bulk items, furniture etc) �Be accurate, and have a good understanding of and experience using MS Excel �Have initiative to overcome problems as they occur �Work well when the pressure is on �Get on well with team members �Communicate well at all levels (some face to face customer interaction will be required) Relevant Search Words: Warehouse Operator Operative Storesman Storesperson
