THE ROLE
A unique opportunity has arisen with a large Elderly Home located North of Leicester. Our client is seeking to recruit Manager who has extensive Health and Social Care Knowledge and leadership skills.

THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the effective running and development of this home.

With previous experience already gained and a smooth track record of either assisting with or running a Home for the elderly, your daily responsibilities will include:

-Ensuring that the well being of the residents is maintained
-Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home
-Carrying out staff supervisions and appraisals
-Assisting with recruitment, appointment and deployment of care, catering and domestic staff
-Carrying out detailed assessments prior to admission
-Preparing care plans and ensuring each service user receives care appropriate to their individual need
-Monitoring and controlling day-to-day expenditure
-Preparing budgets
-Monitoring business performance
-Developing clear policies and practices regarding quality standards
-Building effective working relationships with residents, their families, staff and other professionals.

It is essential that candidates will have completed and achieved a Leadership and Management Award and have good understanding and knowledge of Care Quality Commission regulations.

Candidates applying should be fluent in English and have authorisation to work in the EEC.
