MATERIALS/INVENTORY/STORES MANAGER

LOCATION: SHEFFIELD

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £25,000

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Previous experience in maintaining stock integrity by using lean principles
- S&OP processing in a manufacturing environment
- Materials forecasting, capacity planning and introducing improvement processes
- Supervisory/team leader exposure within a stores/materials environment within an engineering or heavy manufacturing environment

ROLE INFORMATION:

- Managing a team of 5 in stores, you will be responsible for all materials as they enter and exit the business
- You will be required to maintain inventory accuracy, through forecasting and stock integrity.
- Through implementing process improvements throughout the stock you will manage the complete material process
- Other duties to include, managing the team, ensuring despatch runs smoothly and ensuring that there are no levels of obsolete stock
- The right candidate will ideally be from a materials planning/inventory forecasting background with some exposure to working in stores.
