Job Description:

Centrally lead and coordinate the Operational Continuity efforts across the Thames water region

• Act as single point of contact and subject matter expert for Operational Continuity planning

• Research best practices, government requirement and other relevant sources of knowledge

• Facilitate Operational Continuity related workshops

• Develop relevant materials, templates and tools to aid implementation of a consistent corporate approach to Operational Continuity

• Introduce a Contingency Capability Audit process


Candidate Requirements:

Excellent and proven project management skills, ideally in a compliance arena – from initiation, planning and scoping to completion and closure

Robust risk management and risk assessment experience with knowledge in the field

Evident ease and familiarity with complex technical environments

Experience in facilitating workshops with diverse attendees

Ability to research, seek information and apply these successfully on the job

Good analytical skills and inquisitive mind

Ability to understand and shift easily from big picture to details and to convey these accordingly

Flexibility, adaptability, commitment, drive and enthusiasm

The successful candidate must be fully conversant with MS Office and Lotus Notes.

Hourly rate £9.00 - £12.00 an hour dependant upon experience

Hours 37.5 hours a week

Times 9.00 - 5.00pm
