To supervise and manage the Company’s Sites
To ensure that allocated sites are run efficiently and effectively.
To liaise with their Area Managers on a daily basis;
To help organize the Security Officer’s roster for the week ahead, to organize cover for holidays, sickness, and days off at stores in their area, as and when required;
To assist with additional training of any new officers on their sites under the direction of their Area Manager
Relationships: To report to the Senior Ops Team on a weekly basis and to also maintain a close liaison with the Control Room Staff at all required times.
Key Task Areas:
To visit all sites given to them, as and when required on a weekly basis and to follow Area Supervisor best practice codes.
To observe and communicate relevant information to the Control and immediate line managers regarding incidents, risk areas, and irregularities to procedure;
To comply with any reasonable requests by senior management;
To assess and appraise Security Officers working on their sites and if possible, in conjunction with their Area Manager;
To be responsible for the initial stages of the disciplinary procedures under the guidance of the HR Manager;
To liaise with all other Managers as and when required particularly keeping the Control Room updated with site information and discussing with their Area Manager any site visit plans.
To return Site Visit Reports to in conjunction with Supervisor Daily Record Summary sheets.
To liaise with the HR Manager on all employee matters. (Uniform wage queries, written correspondence etc)
