We are looking for Qualified Social Workers' with the Child Protection, Referral & Assessment, Children in Need or Looked After Children experience for our key client based in Wokingham. You will be providing essential social care services to children and their families as well as working as part of a vibrant friendly team. You will be responsible for managing your own case load, providing support, advice and counselling services on all referral cases and in return our client offers a comprehensive Personal Development Programme, excellent salary and benefits package, along with flexible working hours and generous annual leave entitlement.
Duties
In your role as a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for
* Assessing individual needs and formulate plans for intervention and service provision for children and their families.
* Demonstrating effective negotiation and communication skills across the range of multi-agencies within the family court arena.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at risk of 'significant harm'.
Skills
For this Qualified Social Worker role you will be required to
* Embrace change and adapt to ever changing environments
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
* Current knowledge and understanding of child care legislation.

Requirements:

* Registered with the GSCC
* Social Work Qualification (DIPSW or Equivalent)
* Valid CRB
