Our client is a large water utilities company based in the Midlands. They serve over eight million customers across the heart of the UK – stretching from the Bristol Channel to the Humber and from mid-Wales to the East Midlands.

About the role

We are currently recruiting an MI Analyst to work within the Compliance Team and provide Management Information to the Executive Team, Water and Waste directorates and Customer Operations Service Centre Management Team on our company standards.

Your key responsibilities will be;

• To build upon and improve a company wide Lotus Notes database with up to date root cause data and key performance stats
• To continually look to improve the management information we currently provide
• To support the Compliance Manager to initiate the development of new processes and reengineering of current processes for operational and customer issues.
• To receive and interpret Customer Event Survey (CES) data and transfer to a new Lotus Notes database for company wide use
• To link CES data with Root cause data for the Water and Waste directorates and produce a complete reporting package per district
To run reports for data as and when required
• To work with the Systems Team to continually improve IS and reporting tools for to improve management information

About you

The successful candidate will have Grade C or above Maths and English GCSE or equivalent and a recognised IT qualification. You will have proven experience working within a management information role and be used to working with IT systems, especially building databases/reporting. Working knowledge of Visual Basic applications would be an advantage. Advanced Excel, Word and Access is vital as is experience of working in a team that works to regulatory deadlines. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders about management information requirements and work.
