Main Duties

The purpose of this role is to build and test small to medium assemblies working in a small team environment. There may be some soldering required and calibration of completed units.

Overall Skill Requirements

• Build assemblies to correct build requirements with high quality.

• Interpret basic assembly diagrams and/or written instructions

• Ensure high quality goods are produced

• Raise any issues regarding supply or quality of parts

• Electrical soldering / wiring

• Adherence to 5S, H&S and all other company practices

Skills and Experience

• Previous mechanical assembly experience in similar environment, ideally 2 years or more

• Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal and read basic drawings.

• Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision.

• Basic numeracy and English literacy skills.

• Flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer literacy skills would be preferred.
