Embedded Value Manager

This is an opportunity to work for an innovative company that is helping shape the future of the life insurance industry.

They are seeking a qualified actuary to lead the embedded value team and be responsible for producing key financial results, including the MCEV and business plan reports. The role requires liaison with senior management and other areas of the business to ensure that the actuarial assumptions are consistent with marketing plans, investment strategy and the overall pricing philosophy.

The ideal candidate would be at the recently qualified level with up to 4 years post qualification experience.

UK life office or reinsurance experience is required. Experience of producing business projections for reporting and in particular experience of market consistent embedded value (MCEV) reporting for UK protection and annuity backgrounds.

Strong Excel and MoSes skills are essential. Good Access skills would also be preferred.

Due to the breath of the role the candidate needs to possess good project management skills.
