Traffic Department Supervisor

I am looking for an experienced Traffic Supervisor for an initial temporary contract based just outside of Barnsley. After a probation period of 12 weeks the role will most likely become permanent.

The position will involve working nights Monday - Saturday and you will be contracted to a 50 hour week. This is a hands on position and candidates will be expected to have experience and to hold a Fork Lift and Counterbalance License.

The purpose of the role is to organise, coordinate and oversee the performance of the collection and delivery department to meet with customer requirements and operating standards. You will be responsible for a warehouse person and be expected to manage everything within your area.

You must be willing to work alone, be a good decision maker, have trouble shooting capabilities and have excellent communication skills.
