REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER
Location: Flexible: Derbyshire / Stoke / Shrewsbury / Coventry
Salary: circa £45,000-£55,000

We are currently recruiting for a REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER.
The REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER, role objective:
To ensure the delivery of a water supply that is always on and good to drink.
To manage finance to meet Opex and Capex targets through the productivity of direct labour and contract teams.
To ensure health and safety systems are in place for the protection of employees and third parties.
To develop a Distribution team in a region that is fully developed and capable to deliver these objectives.
To operate using the principles of lean process management delivering right first results
These objectives will be delivered by using the STW leadership and behaviour model.
This requires compliance with Legal, Regulatory and Company processes and systems. The REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER, key accountabilities:
To manage a team of Area managers and Scheduling manager
To manage teams that operate and repair distribution assets to meet the above objectives
To manage Health and Safety by ensuring compliance with H&S policy and engendering a proactive, positive health and Safety culture.
To maintain positive industrial relations in accordance with the STW partnership
To ensure systems and processes are in place to effectively manage both OPEX and CAPEX.
To actively identify investment opportunities which reduce risk, improve service or reduce opex costs.
To deliver against the agreed Company and Departmental business plans and performance measures through effective target planning, measurement control and remedial action planning.
To work collaboratively; internally within Distribution, across Water Services and across other Company directorates.
To represent and support the Distribution General Manager when required.
Develop a team to maximise their current & future potential through the use of succession, development and training plans.
Ensure that customers are at the heart of our operations, ensuring teams communicate effectively to understand and then deliver against their reasonable expectations.
Deliver or support the delivery of Company KPI's or Regulatory outputs, this includes drinking water quality, water pressure, unplanned supply interruptions, hosepipe bans, pollution, Opex & Capex delivery The REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER
Appropriate Engineering / Science degree qualification or equivalent.
BTEC (Internal STW qualification) and/or suitable management qualification or equivalent About Our Client
