The position for Butcher in Just Outside Iswich is no longer available
To assist onsite with general butchery duties. The main role will include boning out bellies of pigs and filleting the loins, boning out the chumps (removing the part between the leg and the loin). The remaining pork will then need to be cut up for use in sausages produced onsite.
At the end of each shift, each department will be required to clean and sanitise the unit. Full training will be given on equipment, which chemicals to use and how to record on the cleaning schedule.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Hours of work: 7:30am - 17:00pm.
Location: Outskirts of Ipswich
Previous butchery experience essential.
