Description		Internal Auditor Basic - �18k - �20k Hours of work � Monday - Friday 8:00 � 16.30 The Company Our client is a European Chilled and Frozen food producer. It makes predominantly fresh chilled desserts, salads, sandwiches, fish, dips, dressings and ready meals for sale in the UK and continental Europe. It is a major supplier to leading supermarket groups in Europe on a branded and customer own label basis. The Role �Conduct internal audits at specific intervals of critical areas ensuring that the documented procedures are followed �Record, document and communicate internal audit observations and non-conformance to the relevant departmental managers �Verify corrective actions to ensure that close out actions are sustainable and will deliver continuous improvement to the business �Record and co-ordinate the follow up of metal / foreign body contamination on the shop floor �Audit and verify the investigative paperwork to ensure they have been completed to a satisfactory close out level �Play an active role in the management of factory procedures ensuring they are kept up to date and relevant to changes in factory layout, ingredients and finished products �Complete monthly reports on the performance of the factory The Candidate �Computer literate able to produce written and graphical reports �Basic/Intermediate Food Hygiene �Knowledge and understanding of HACCP �The individual should be self motivated, have attention to detail and be challenging at all levels in a constructive manner �Education: 5 GCSE's at C grade above or equivalent
