An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security and Compliance Professional to be the key contact on all matters relating to Security and Compliance within the HR Function of this large Business Services and Management Consultancy Company.

Based in the Woking Office of this Multisite Organisation, you will be responsible for providing a service to the business in respect of compliance with the Data Protection Act, the Employment of Migrant Workers, the timely provision of Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and security of Government information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operating as Key Contact and lead signatory both to the business and the UKBA in all aspects of employing migrant workers
• Provide advice and guidance to the HR Team and the business on requirements of CRB/ISA
• Manage implementation of new ISA requirement across the business
• Successfully undertake the process for security clearance to SC level for position as Security Controller
• Provide information and advice to the Companie's Board Level Contacts, and any other member of staff with a need to know, on all matters relating to security of Government information
• Identification of sensitive data and management of processes to manage this
• Management of new joiners process for data protection and ongoing monitoring of existing employees data consent

SKILLS/EXPERIENCES:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above.
• Previous experience of compliance role within HR or equivalent
• CRB, Work Permit and Data protection knowledge preferable
• Experience of working with the governing bodies for CRB, Work Permits or MOD desirable
• The successful applicant will be required to be MOD cleared and CRB checked prior to taking up the role
• Excellent telephone manner, verbal and written communications skills.
• Evidence of good attention to detail.
• Confident in use of Microsoft Office applications.

SALARY:

Up to £25,000 pa dependant on experience
