Fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Manufacturing Company as an
HR Administrator.
To support the Human Resources team in providing a professional and efficient Human Resources service to the whole group
Requirements:-
setting up and delivery of induction to new employees
reproducing standard letters / other relevant HR material
providing support to the team in organising recruitment process .updating job descriptions issuing and ordering of company uniform producing statistical reports both manually and electronically
daily monitoring and resolving Time and Attendance issues via HR database·monitoring sickness / absence / lateness and regularly informing Manager
daily recording / processing of holiday, absence records and overtime records researching / creating reports to improve HR function from Personnel Database assisting in organising annual appraisal process ie paperwork/diaries across the group·
setting up and processing new employees onto HR Database
requesting written references and chasing to completion·
keeping electronic up to date details of employees across the group ensuring database is always accurate·
assisting team with monthly preparation of payroll via HR system for processing by accounts Dept·
Answering the telephone both internally and externally and dealing with as appropriate .
ad hoc duties ie photocopying, filing etc gain knowledge of company policies and procedures
You must have the following:
Calm and confident under pressure
meticulous attention to detail
highly confidential·
able to work in a very busy HR department
knowledge of Time & Attendance systems excellent telephone manner and communication skills
possesses a 'can do' professional attitude
ability to use initiative ·
some basic HR knowledge
good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook·
Engineering/Manufacturing background desirable but not essential
Hours Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30
