This company is seeking an EHS Advisor for the Bristol location. The purpose of the role is to:
Lead Incident & Injury Free culture, vision, values and training implemented within Business Unit with senior management
Responsibility for the Safety Advisor support to sites assigned within the Sector/Business Unit
Liaise with Statutory enforcement agencies and supply chain EHS managers
Contribute to the development of the Safety Management processes and train relevant personnel
To communicate effectively all Safety Management processes and issues to Managers and the supply chain
To provide health and safety training, guidance and advice
Carry out the programme of site safety inspections, Safety audits including the Supply Chain, and report findings to the Project Team and senior management
Provide advice and guidance and information on Health & Safety issues to Project Teams and senior management
Contribute to the safety team within the Sector/Business Unit
You will have membership of IOSH or a similar relevant body, to MIOSH or CMIOS status, as well as relevant construction industry and a detailed knowledge of statutory, legislative requirements, Company Policy and procedures. You will have good time management and organizational skills, excellent operational and man management skills and be an excellent communicator (in all forms i.e. verbal, written, IT), including chairing relevant meetings.
You will have a full driving licence and CSCS card.
Salary is circa £35k plus car/car allowance, 25 days holiday, car allowance and pension.
