Description		Senior Estates Manager / Commercial Property Manager (Maternity Cover Initially) Orpington, Kent Salary circa �50,000 + Excellent Benefits including Bonus, Company Car and Private Healthcare Our client is the UK�s premier household name for all types of flooring including carpet, rugs, vinyl, wood and laminate. They are currently building on success at more than 220 stores nationwide and with their new store opening programme well under way, there has never been a better time to join the team. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estates Manager to join their Estates Management team on a maternity cover basis with the potential to go permanent. The purpose of this role will be to provide support for strategic initiatives, to implement policies and to ensure that compliance standards are adhered to in matters relating to Estate Management. This will involve managing and supporting the Estates team to ensure that Company initiatives and obligations are achieved in a timely manner. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the Company is compliant with current legal and statutory requirements and is made aware of the commercial impact of forthcoming changes. You will assist with acquiring property and dealing with rent reviews, rating appeals and lease renewals. Analysing key business and opportunities for downsizing and subletting, you will also manage planning applications, negotiations and compensation claims. Visiting potential sites and existing stores and departments within the whole Group, you will provide support to strategic initiatives as required. They are looking for a property professional with the drive and passion to make this challenging role a success. With experience in Estate Management gained in retail or a similar large unit sector, you will possess excellent people management skills and be confident when liasing with colleagues and external contacts at all levels.
