The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all catering events and catering staff for all on and off premise events. Planning, billing and follow up on all events are also the responsibility of the Manager
The Catering Manager will report to the Director and must:
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills and decision making ability
• Have the ability to lead, supervise, train and coordinate activities of others
• Be able to work a flexible schedule
• Exhibit high standards with professional appearance
• Have 2+ years management experience in catering and/or special events
• Have operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
The Catering Manager will:
• Coordinate catering activities with client representatives
• Be responsible for scheduling a staff
• Oversee ordering, receiving, billing, etc.
• Be in constant communication with Director of Catering, Executive Chef and other team members to ensure high quality products and service
• Monitor care and operation of delivery vehicles
• Follow-up on all catered events
• Monitor team member job performance
• Oversee the financials of all catering activities through effective food, labor and supply controls
• Work with General Manager regarding menu concepts and special events
