Designing and executing effective sales strategy in line with the companys core business both national and international services
Prospecting and targeting companies, mainly within the UK, from cold calling and warm leads through to securing / contract signing
Working with the Operations team to implement new clients
Assisting with tenders as required
Planning for, attending and follow up on all sales presentations, including working with the Marketing team in preparation of associated materials
Supporting the Directors and Operations team in providing solutions to address up-selling / business development opportunities, within the existing client base
Where required, providing support for sales colleagues within the wider group
Providing pricing to other colleagues, as requested
Maintaining clear and accurate records within the sales database
Representing company as required at trade fairs, industry meetings etc
Contributing to the overall success
Accepting full responsibility for satisfactory completion of own tasks, to fulfill the requirements of the role
The Person:
Background Preferably a proven track record in sales
Consultative sales style, i.e. used to selling a service or a concept
Commercial acumen and resilience
Strong presentation and customer service skills
Ability to be able to communicate with both HR and Procurement
Reporting to Director
Based in Birmingham with willingness to travel within the UK as required (almost exclusively in the UK, but may on rare occasions be required to travel abroad)
Key Requirements
Strong IT skills (Microsoft office)
Strong organisation skills
Strong team player and be people orientated
Excellent telephone manner
Flexible approach towards hours of work.
Current driving licence
