An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator/Property Management Officer to join a Lettings & Property Maintenance business based in Leeds.

Purpose of the Job:

Working as part of a Team, the Property Management Officer will be responsible for all aspects of Property Management including lettings negotiation and viewings as well as repairs and maintenance.

The key duties of the role are:-

• To be involved in all aspects of Property Management including lettings negotiation
• To undertake viewings with potential clients
• To manage lettings take-on and sign-ups
• To raise and manage Work Request Orders as required
• To co-ordinate and manage property repairs liaising with our Maintenance Contractors on a day to day basis to ensure that all maintenance is completed satisfactorily
• To liaise with tenants and identify where issues need to be addressed
• To undertake problem assessments and identify suitable solutions liaising with surveyors where appropriate
• To manage maintenance costs within agreed tariffs
• To make regular inspections and inventory checks
• To undertake rent arrears management

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Be a team player
• Possess excellent telephone and customer services skills
• Have strong negotiation and sales skills
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Have a minimum of 2 years Property Management experience
• Be PC literate in the Microsoft Office suite
• Have a working knowledge of Winman 
• Have a flexible approach in working hours coupled with reliability
• Be able to work on their own initiative
• Be capable of organising and prioritising workloads whilst also setting workable deadlines

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above, two of which must be in English and Mathematics
• 2 ‘A’ levels of Grade C or above
• Full clean driving licence

Working Hours:        

• Monday – Friday9.00 – 5.30 pm(1 hour lunch). There will also be a requirement to work later (up to7.00 pm) at peak times in accordance with business needs
• There will also be a requirement to work Saturdays on a rota basis

• On job training will be provided
