Description		The Company My client is one of the leading convergence specialists in the UK. They offer an array of voice & data products, along with converged VOIP products and services to both the Enterprise and SME markets. Their core focus is on the provision and maintenance of digital and IP telephony systems, LAN and WAN, voice and data engineering work, network provision, and structured cabling. The company is a highly valued and accredited business partner of both Cisco and Avaya, and is currently enjoying a period of substantial growth. As a result, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join their Solutions Team. The Role � The BDM�s primary responsibility is for the acquisition and development of both SME and Corporate clients across the UK. � To manage and develop the sales of their full product portfolio, primarily based on Cisco and Avaya technology. � To manage and develop the sales of support and maintenance contracts. � Develop and maintain account development plans. The Person The ideal candidate will have;- � Experience in the Telecommunications arena with a proven track record in a field based new business acquisition role. � A sound understanding of Telco�s technologies with experience of selling both voice & data products. � Well developed problem solving skills and a high level of initiative. � Strong relationship building skills, being both comfortable and credible presenting at all levels, including director and board level. � Resilience and drive with the desire to succeed.
