Description Cell Planning & Optimisation Engineer – Global Mobile Telecoms – Contract – Warrington

A Global Mobile Telecoms company is looking for Cell Planning & Optimisation Engineers to join its team on a contract basis, this is a 3 month rolling contract and the position is set to last up to 24 months.

To design 2G & 3G network within the UK, based on requirements. Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure cost-effective sites are delivered in time to meet the required level of coverage and quality of service requirements. This will involve the creation of Cell databuild and post integration Optimisation of sites into the Network.

You will also be responsible for the Network performance of a particular geographical area assigned to you, within Northern region of UK network. Constant monitoring of the performance trends is required to sustain and improve the quality of the Network in your designated area.

To achieve the coverage/capacity targets set for your assigned area of the Network within the set target dates.

To monitor the daily performance statistics for your area and take appropriate actions to sustain and improve the Network performance by working closely with other departments like RAN Performance team, Field and Network Operations Centre etc.

You MUST have knowledge of 2G and 3G! And be eligible to work in the UK.
