Description Service Supervision Technician – Mobile Telecoms – South West – Permanent

A Mobile Telecoms company based in the West are looking for a Service Supervision Technician, this is a permanent position and salary can be discussed on application.

As the Service Supervision Technician you will be reporting to the SMC Supervision Team Leader. You will pro-actively monitor the services within the Service Catalogue on a 24x7 shift basis (the shift pattern can be discussed in further detail on application). Where service degradation is identified, you will complete tests on the service to validate customer impact and raise a service incident. You will attempt to identify the cause of the issue and then pass the ticket to the appropriate TMC, Support Team or SMC.

As Service Supervision Technician you will also receive escalation from Customer Contact Centres and will be required to help manage escalations from other SMC's/TMC's. You will be responsible for reviewing requests for change which could potentially affect key services and communicate updates of any service outages to defined customer groups.

You will have relevant service/technical experienced of GSM, Roaming and Broadband. You will also have knowledge of fault finding and testing as well as fault management knowledge.

Knowledge of working to Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and a background working on a IS Helpdesk would be advantageous.
