Senior Marketing Manager
The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving all marketing initiatives in a designation geographical area including local marketing strategy, developing brand awareness, strategies to drive demand generation, events, channel marketing programs and public relations.
A key role is insuring alignment with Enterprise sales strategies and central marketing programs.
This person will actively participate as voice of the field into corporate and providing feedback for what marketing needs is key to success and ability to efficiently leverage available resources.
Reporting
Reports to the Head of Field Marketing for Enterprise in Central, North and East Europe.
Duties
Ü Responsible to build local go to market plans (target segments for new business, installed base, partners, etc...) together w/ regional sales leaders.
Ü Build the Local Marketing Plan. Allocate and manage the Field Marketing Budget to the Business Priorities.
Ü Define and drive local awareness building.
Ü Drive and execute local demand creation & pipeline acceleration activities (Tradeshows, Road shows, events, etc).
Ü Provide regional support for global programs & localization of content.
Ü Works pro-actively with selected partners on strategies and plans to increase revenue and market share.
Ü Drives co-marketing into the local planning; works with partners to ensure they are enabled and leveraged in marketing efforts.
Ü Represent the local region into the overall marketing planning, prioritization process and program design.
Ü Foster the sharing of best practices.
Ü Performs business impact analysis on marketing contributions
Key expectations
Ü Be a balanced manager across the 3 dimensions of a field marketing function.
Ü Close partnership with sales leadership to align marketing and sales strategies.
Ü Operational manager of the local marketing plans (budgets, results, improvements).
Ü Engage, sync & leverage central marketing programs.
Ü Experience to manage a small team (if required) would be preferred
Requirements
Ü Must have at least 7+ years of experience in an enterprise communications and/or in marketing positions. Ideally in combination with software and telecommunications/communications.
Ü Proven ability to interface with large multi-cultural teams locally and on a remote basis.
Ü Clear ability to discuss the local market and strategies to position ALU Enterprise for growth.
Ü Willingness to travel.
Ü Exceptional oral and written communication skills-especially in English and native language.
