ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Investment Portfolio administration role incorporates banking procedures, compiling client information, client contact, processing new applications and administering changes to existing client portfolios.

Successful applicants will be responsible for producing information for clients on their accounts, addressing a variety of queries from clients and their Financial Advisers and liaising with third party companies on our clients' behalf. Client contact will come in the form of telephone calls, letters and email correspondence.

There is the opportunity to start or continue personal professional development for those who wish to gain industry recognised qualifications. The firm has created and will create many other opportunities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

a) Proficient with Microsoft Office.
b) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
c) Hardworking and dependable.
d) Good attention to detail.
e) Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
f) Self motivated and able to work on own initiative.
g) Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
h) Proactive approach to client queries, good problem solving skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (not essential)

a) Administration experience preferred or a Degree level standard of education
b) A basic understanding of investments (in particular ISA's & Unit Trusts) would be advantageous; but is not essential as full training will be provided.
