ADMINISTRATOR needed in Rutland - LE15 and surrounding areas
Job Summary:
To carry out a comprehensive range of administrative duties with limited supervision and provide administrative support to specific teams or work groups/sections. Specific job activities will vary according to the location of the officer and/or the needs of the operational teams or work groups/sections but may involve written, face to face or telephone contact with the public and internal colleagues and requires the use of IT. Must have good organisational skills and be able to use IT effectively in implementing tasks.
Candidate Profile
You will have the:
? Previous experience in an administrative post
? Experience of operating office and information systems
? Knowledge of office procedures and administrative systems
? Good IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets preferably Microsoft Office, email, use of the intranet and internet
? Experience of working with databases
? Literate and numerate
? Good verbal and written communication skills
? Experience of working with the public
? Able to work on own initiative
? Able to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines
? Flexible approach
? Able to produce reports
? Able to interpret information
? Good team working skills
? Ability to travel within the Borough as and when required
? Some posts may require a satisfactory CRB check
