Administration assistant required to provide high quality comprehensive administrative support to a team; maintain effective links with other groups as well as minute taking. In this challenging and varied role you will be required to provide a high quality and efficient word processing service to the team, prepare correspondence and other documents from notes, dictation and/or other instructions, and collate supporting papers and reports.
The ideal candidate will promote a customer focused image and enjoy working within our team environment and provide support in a variety of tasks; gathering information, filtering and screening calls, emails and visitors, making formal appointments and meetings and ensuring co-ordination of diary movements. This role will require a flexible approach and candidates must be able to prioritise work demands as well as coping with repetitive work, learn and take ownership of new tasks quickly, exercising initiative in order to deal with queries / complaints from the general public, Members, Service Areas and other outside organisations.
