Position Summary:
- To liase with patients, consultants, third parties and the general public on all aspects of admission and care, including scheduling and financial aspects.
-To check credit worthiness and medical insurance cover.
-To produce accurate and timely invoices for services received.
-To check room availability for admissions.
-Book any necessary tests/investigations.
-To maintain accurate and up to date information on the databases.
-Maintain up to date knowledge on price agreements and billing methods.
-To inform patients of procedures prior to admission.
-Receive monies/credit transactions and record.
-Liaise with embassies regarding facilities and special needs of patients.
-Answer telephone and written enquiries.
-To undertake rotational role, encompassing all duties within patient administration.
General Duties:
1. To be responsible for the daily operational function of all duties performed by Patient Administration Department (Reservations).
2. To continually develop the Reservation service to provide the highest standard.
3. To book hospital room and co-ordinate arrangements for the admission of patients through their consultant.
4. To ensure confidentiality of patients personal, financial and medical details.
5. To deal with all aspects of public relations in all contacts particularly with consultants, doctors and their staff and patients.
Requirements:
- Private Hospital Administration Experience
- To have Admissions / Reservations experience
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
