Description Administration Assistant (with Finance) - £15-17K DOE. Near Truro

This position has been readvertised due to unsuccessful interviews!

My client has an exciting opportunity for a calm and capable administrator with finance skills (sage/purchase ledger) to join their team near Truro. Reporting to the Finance and Admin Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for day-to-day company administration. The essential duty of the role is Purchase Ledger.

This is a permanent job offering excellent prospects with a growing company.

Applicants must have a solid background with SAGE and developed a strong personality capable of dealing with a variety of internal / external customers/clients/contractors.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate Purchase Ledger experience/skills.

A summary of expected duties includes;
Maintaining the Company’s purchase ledger,
Supporting the administration and sales departments
Liasing with production and clients to arrange despatches
To provide effective cover for the Admin Manager during holidays and periods of absence.

Pay will be £15K - £17K per annum depending on experience. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm.

The emphasis of this position will be purchase ledger, with a strong focus on customer and supplier relationships; to support the busy Finance and Administration department. Due to the remote location of my client, it is essential that applicants have access to their own transport.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate;
Thorough knowledge of Sage and Excel.
Ability to maintain the purchase ledger and provide effective communication between management, office and production staff.
Excellent keyboard skills
A good telephone manner
A methodical and logical approach Payroll , PAYE and associated tasks
A confident and capable personality with a can-do attitude
