Sales Administrator

Overview

Responsibilities
• Sales support of all major accounts (including the Italian parent company).
• Input of customer orders to Sage sales and accounting system.
• Order acknowledgement to customers.
• Telephone liaison with customer buying teams both proactively and reactively.
• Processing of customer orders through to final despatch documentation.
• Liaising with Sales and Logistics Administrator to ensure that transport has been organised correctly for customer deliveries.
• Filing of all customer orders, despatch documentation and correspondence in customer files.
• Maintain quotation log.
• Organising the ending out of samples to potential new and existing customers.
• Follow up calls to customers who have received samples.
• Monitoring responses.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to Commercial Development Director.
• General administrative support.
• Occasional customer visits with members of Field Sales Team.

Qualifications/Experience
• Sales order processing/administration.
• Strong customer service background.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
