Primary Purpose of this Position
To take responsibility for the Sales Order Process and Data Management. Collate data and provide reports on Commercial Department KPIs and provide assistance to the Commercial team as required.
Main Duties of this Position
Sales Order Processing
• Undertake new sales order/order amendment/order acknowledgement processing (SOP) data entry onto Sage Line 500 ensuring all information is correct and complete.
• Maintain appropriate operating procedures for SOP
• Manage the order acceptance process including administrative tasks, arranging, attending and minuting weekly meetings.
Performance Measurement
• Report on Commercial Department Performance Indicators
• Establish Commercial department key risk monitoring tools
Undertake any other departmental tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience of working in a structured office environment including administrative support for data management systems
• Good standard of education to GCSE or ‘O’ level (or equivalent), including Maths and English
• Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS software particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Previous experience of managing a sales order process
• Adaptable and flexible
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
Desirable:
• AS/A level qualified
• MS Visio experience
• Previous experience with Sage Line 500.
