Office Manager / Administration Manager
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 plus bonus of £2000-3000 per annum
Location: Portsmouth
Hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Office manager / Administration Manager required immediately working for a well-established independent manufacturing business based in Portsmouth
As an office administrator you will work within a small team to ensure the administration and accounts for the business are managed effectively
Key duties will include
Managing all administrative duties for the business
Acting as first point of contact for clients and customers both face to face and via the telephone
Working closely with and supporting the Md with PA duties
Accounts: managing the following
• Sales & purchase ledgers
• Petty cash
• Bank rec
• PAYE – done by accountants, supply hours
• VAT
Costing analysis, producing and sending of quotations, producing reports to show cash allocation
Health & Safety
Marketing: Productions and the distribution of mailshot and other promotional materials,
Update website
Purchasing – Purchasing of company materials and managing stock levels
Build documentation
Event management: Organise annual exhibition
The ideal candidate will
Have a strong administrative / office management background
Have experience in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Have experience in computerised accounts
Have strong attention to detail and be able to multitask
