Description		This Company is a highly profitable residential developer. They are prominent in the high class residential property market. The company is currently completing a number of developments each year and due to significant growth prospects the group is continually expanding its operations base. They pride themselves in the quality of their projects and not only the satisfaction of their clients but also of the teams working around them. Geographic catchment area for the company is primarily within the M25 with the head office based in Southwark, Central London. This particular project is based in Reading, Berkshire. This is a very solid company with a respectable history of quality developments and a promising future. About the role: Due to significant growth forecasts and continued strong performance the company is seeking to recruit a Intermediate Quantity Surveyor be based on site in Reading, Berkshire. This site will consist of 108 apartments with 14 floors. The ground floor will construct retail units and residential floors from 1st to 14th. This position will involve all responsibilities for all commercial aspects of the assigned project including valuations, cost value reconciliations, pricing of variations, Sub-contractors' payments and measurement. This position is a very prominent role within the company and will therefore equally bring a great deal of responsibility. About the benefits and reward: The package will be secondary to finding the right person for the job. Basic salary expectations will be �40'000 to �60'000. The position will promise fantastic career and earning potential for the successful candidate. Requirements: Due to the prominence of the role the successful candidate needs to have a solid background in quantity surveying. The individual concerned will have previous experience as a quantity surveyor from either a main contractor or developer background, ideally both. The ideal individual will be highly motivated, idea-driven and capable of exceeding expectations. Lateral thinking and highly developed problem-solving abilities should be coupled with a very strong academic background and a track record of managing projects.
